Summary:
 House Bill 374 (HB374) modifies the definition of “occurrence” in the Medical Malpractice Act.  
Legislation Overview:
 House Bill 374 (HB374) as used in the Medical Malpractice Act, the term “occurrence” will now read: “occurrence “ means all claims for damages from all persons arising from harm to a single patient, no matter how many health care providers, errors or omissions contributed to the harm.
Note: that the definition of “occurrence’” is also referenced in HB 378. Having to do with changes in the Medical Malpractice Act. 
A minor change  in HB 374, in spelling of “podiatrist” to “podiatric physician” is found in certain Sections of the Act.
