 House Bill 263 (HB 263) increases certain fees that may be charged by a notarial officer for notarial work. 

 House Bill 263 (HB 263) increases notary fees as follows:

•	For acknowledgements, from $5.00 to $10.00;
•	For jurats (statements of when, where, and before whom the statement was sworn), from $5.00 to $10.00;
•	For copy certification, from $5.00 to $10.00 (for minimum charge).
 

 If the bill does not pass, the notary fees identified will remain as is.
